Talala Police Department has again been Recognized in Lexipol Readiness Recognition Program for Excellence in Policy Management
TALALA, OK, TPD, 05/21/2026 – Talala Police Department announced today that it has been recognized as Elite in the Mission Milestones category of the Lexipol Readiness Recognition Program for excellence in policy management in 2025, the highest recognition in the program. Formerly known as the Lexipol Connect Recognition Program, the Lexipol Readiness Recognition Program recognizes agencies that achieve excellence in their use of Lexipol solutions. This recognition reflects an agency’s commitment to maintaining strong, current policy practices that support accountability, operational readiness, and service to the community.
Chief R. Scott Eaton said, “Over the past four years as Chief, I have been truly blessed to lead a dedicated team of officers in our small-town department. They consistently uphold our core values of Continuous Improvement through Trustworthy Service. This commitment shines through each year as we receive this award. Through monthly training and ongoing policy management, we have made excellence the standard we expect and maintain. Our next goal is to achieve Small Agency Accreditation through the Oklahoma Association of Chiefs of Police. I look forward to sharing that journey with you all soon.”
