Court is Held at 5pm on the Third Monday every month, unless otherwise indicated on your citation.

DRIVING RECORDS

The Talala Municipal Court understands that a lot of drivers are concerned about the implications a traffic ticket may have on their driving record and the potential for points assessed. The only way for you to request a modification, “leniency”, or reduction of potential points is to come to court. We suggest arriving 30 minutes early to discuss your case with the Prosecutor. The Prosecutor will want to see your driving records before making any recommendations. We highly suggest you take the time to have this printed off and available for your court appearance.

or by Printing this Document.

NOT GUILTY PLEAS

If you are disputing a citation, you must appear in court on your given court date.

GUILTY or Nolo contendere (no contest)

Once payment is processed, you will not be on the court docket to discuss your citation. You are NOT required to come to court if you pay your fine in FULL prior to your court date. Tickets paid prior to court date automatically will be entered as Guilty or Nolo Contendere.
